We work on ecological restoration in the upper watersheds of communities in the Challabamba district, Paucartambo province, within montane forest ecosystems.

Q’ero Landscape –
We restore bofedales (high-altitude wetlands) and montane forests in the peasant community of Japu, located in the district and province of Paucartambo.

Marlene Mamani Solorzano

Project Leader

Biologist from the National University of San Antonio Abad of Cusco (UNSAAC). She is currently a Specialist in Andean Restoration and Community Relations at Conservación Amazónica – ACCA, where she leads the Challabamba Landscape and Q’ero Landscape projects.

Abrahan Cordova

Field Cordinator

He is a field technical promoter at Conservación Amazónica – ACCA in the Challabamba Landscape, where he leads the reproduction of native species through vegetative and sexual propagation techniques, as well as the implementation of community nursery systems aimed at restoring vegetation cover and strengthening ecosystem resilience.

Jeffry Lopez

Field Cordinator

He currently works as an Andean Restoration Assistant in the Challabamba and Q’ero Landscape projects at Conservación Amazónica – ACCA, where supports community engagement, plantation management, and conservation efforts in degraded areas.

Victor Maita

Field Cordinator

Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Production Technician. He is a field technical promoter at Conservación Amazónica – ACCA in the Q’ero Landscape, where he contributes to the study and propagation of native species for the restoration of degraded areas in the Japu Peasant Community.
